How Auto-fix works

You add one small snippet to your site once. After that, Indexidia can apply approved fixes to your pages as they are served: shorter titles, new meta descriptions and structured data. Your files and database are not changed, and switching a fix off restores the original at once.

  • Titles over the length search engines show are shortened, keeping your brand
  • Pages with no meta description get one written from the page itself
  • Schema markup is added where it is missing
  • Every fix waits for your approval, and you can edit it first

Why titles and descriptions matter

The title and description are what people see in search results and what AI tools often read first. A title cut off in the middle, or a description Google has to make up from random text on the page, means fewer clicks even when you rank.

Safe by design

Auto-fix only changes the parts it is told to change, only on pages you approve, and checks that the snippet is installed before it reports anything as live.

Auto-fix: frequently asked questions

What is Auto-fix?

Auto-fix applies approved SEO fixes to your live pages without you editing code: shorter titles, new meta descriptions and schema markup. You add one small snippet to your site once, approve the fixes you want in your dashboard, and they appear on your pages as they are served.

Which plan includes Auto-fix?

Auto-fix is part of the Pro plan, which is $19 a month for up to 5 sites with daily checks, and the Agency plan, which is $49 a month for up to 25 sites.

Does Auto-fix change my files or database?

No. Your files and your database are not touched. The fix is applied to the page as it is sent to the visitor, and switching a fix off returns the original immediately.

Which fixes can Auto-fix apply?

It can replace titles that are too long for search results, add meta descriptions to pages that have none, and add schema markup where it is missing. Every fix is shown to you first, and you can edit it before switching it on.

Will Auto-fix slow my site down?

No. Your approved fixes are kept in a small file on your own server and refreshed at most once an hour, so pages never wait for Indexidia. If Indexidia cannot be reached, your pages simply show without the fixes.

Which platforms does Auto-fix work on?

Auto-fix works on sites that run on PHP, including WordPress, where the snippet goes at the top of your main index file or theme. On other platforms you can use the Fix Kit, which gives you the same titles, descriptions and schema to add yourself.

How do I know Auto-fix is working?

Indexidia only reports a fix as live after it sees your snippet checking in. Your dashboard shows when the snippet was last seen, so a fix is never marked live by mistake.

Can I undo a fix?

Yes, at any time. Switch the fix off and the original title, description or markup returns on the next page load.

Why do titles and descriptions matter for SEO?

They are what people see in search results and what AI tools often read first. A title cut off mid-sentence, or a description made up from random page text, means fewer clicks even when you rank well.

Is it safe to change titles with a script?

Auto-fix only changes the parts you approved, only on the pages you approved, and only replaces the title, the description tag or adds markup in the page head. The rest of the page is passed through unchanged.
